Thank you very much for your insiteful pearls of wisdom. This health care system is so broken, so sick, I wonder if there is a way to make it healthy again. I would be one of the uninsured, self employed, as was my father for many years. Our family experiencing first hand the travesty of no insurance and living with the fear of the cost of illness or injury. When my brother broke his leg at age 5 and suffered 24 hours of agony before being brought to the hopsital for care. He is now 49! This healthcare reform has raged on for so many years, and I fear it will continue as long as the governement has little, if any, control over the insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
Yet, let us send billions upon billions of dollars across the globe to help others. Selfishly, I say, we need to spend the dollars to gain control, to fix this archaic system called health care, which I call sick care.
Thank you Keith Olbermann for sharing your family story. Your passion for reform should put a fire under everyone's butt! I can only hope our politicians have a first hand experience to raise their passion half as much as your passion Keith.
Thank you Ryan, your generation may be the one that gets it done!
